Disposal of Erf 10 000 for Development of a Shopping Mall

Project Objective

The disposal of a portion of land Erf  952 for development of a Shopping Mall: Impendle.

Background and discussion

In accordance with Section 14 of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act 56 of 2003, Impendle Local Municipality aspires to dispose a portion of Erf 10 000 to a suitable and credible service provider to develop a shopping mall. Land will be disposed in accordance with the Municipality’s Land Disposal, and Supply Chain Management policies at a market related price determined by a Municipal Professional Evaluator.

Property Information

The land in question is approximately six (6ha) hectares in extent. It is located along P130. This portion is currently zoned for residential, and it requires engineering services- as it is a virgin land, with no roads, water, electricity supply etc. there is an existing layout however the
